We realize that adult students typically have different needs than the traditional 18 to 23-year-old student. We are eager to offer support to meet those needs and help adult students gain a sense of belonging to the college.
At Penn State, an adult learner is someone who is:
- 24 years of age or older; or
- a veteran of the armed services; or an active duty service member; or
- returning to school after four or more years of employment, homemaking, or other activity; or
- assumes multiple adult roles such as parent, spouse/partner, and employee.
Kathy Cavanaugh, our adult student engagement coordinator, is available to speak with you about your career and education goals to help you find your path. Please contact Kathy at 610-396-6220 or [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
